Sonata Arctica - Returning For Another U.S. Tour

Finnish power metallers SONATA ARCTICA appear to be planning another U.S. tour for late next year, with the first date to be released being as follows:

October 3 - Springfield, VA @ Jaxx

I would love to see them twice if they would vary up their set every night a bit. Since they're heading south to Atlanta, maybe there's hope they'll go across Texas again!

While I'd like to see that myself, there is no way that Nightwish supports Sonata. Perhaps the other way around as was supposed to happen last time Nightwish cancelled their US dates.

Um, let me say this:

I am going to commit Oceansouls of America heresy when I say this, that I possibly see a KISS/BOC situation in all this. Sonata has become the bigger act because of the x factor in Nightwish at this point. It might actually be BETTER for Nightwish if they DID open for Sonata. It is not how far Nightwish has dropped, but like KISS in '74, it is how much Sonata has risen.
