The name comes from a book called "Stark" written by a dude called Ben Elton who co wrote the young ones. It's about a space ship called the Star Ark and is set in Australia where our accent makes the words "Star Ark" sound like "stark", I really wanted an aussie vibe, I'm sort of proud of my country.
