Why?
I wanted to see what you guys had, maybe I could make a few new discoveries. There's tons of bands that've been around for ages and I never bothered to give them a chance.

also how do you 'rip' vinyl?

Ok cool!

How to rip vinyl? You hook up your turntable output to your computer via RCA out to USB in. Play the record all the way through, split the tracks, and then import into iTunes.

I do the same thing when I rip audio from live DVDs.

for anyone curious, if you want to access the content of your iPod, it's very simple: open the iPod up in explorer as a drive, then in the address bar, after the drive letter type

/ipod_control/

and press enter. (It's a special hidden folder.)

Nice! Last I seen DT is coming to the US in April. So, I'll be seeing them sometime around then. I first seen them in 2005 on the first Gigantour.

Actually I'm using a Mac, but I described how to do in on Windows. On Mac it would be a bit more difficult (you'd have to use a terminal).

I don't know why that would be, unless it has to do with your iPod model. Or maybe there's another hidden folder within that one that I'm forgetting about. I don't have an iPod any more or I would check.
