I dont think of thrash when I hear this album ... Maybe Shades of Thrash... What abou tit makes you consider it thrash? ... I'm not Flaming just askin a serious question:D

No prob...I do realize that it is a newer album, and that it crosses MANY genres, but a lot of the riffs are thrash, IMO. Check out tracks 3, 6 & 7, for example. Bands like Sacrifice were a big influence for these guys, and I think their thrash influences shine through on Buried. But honestly, it's hard to throw this album into one genre.

Metallica-Master of Puppets, Ride the Lightning, And Justice for All
Slayer-Hell Awaits, South of Heaven, Reign in Blood
Megadeth-Rust in Peace, Peace Sells, Countdown to Extinction
Anthrax-Sound of White Noise, Spreading the Disease, Stomp 442

obviously, I'm a traditionalist when it comes to thrash

Metallica - Kill'em All, ...And Justice For All
Megadeth - Cryptic Writings, System Has Failed, Rust in Peace
Slayer - South of Heaven, Hell awaits, Show no mercy
Motörhead - We are Motörhead, Snake bite love, Overnight Sensation
Anthrax - Spreading The Disease (Only Anthrax album i got)
Destruction - Antichrist
Kreator - Violent Revolution, Endorama

I forgot Anacrusis - "Screams And Whispers" in my list

First and foremost - Slayer - Reign in Blood. Perfect Album IMO.
Megadeth - Peace Sells
Metallica - Master
Anthrax - Among the Living
Flotsam and Jetsam - No Place for Disgrace
Testament - The Legacy
Powermad - Absolute Power

That's all for now. I only wanted to list one for each band.

Man!! How can I forget the once great muthafukkin Celtic Frost or Hellhammer?!!!!
I loved everything up to Into The Pandemonium! That Mexican Radio cover kicks
serious ass. And I forgot Nuclear Assault's Game Over I shall sit in UMOS classroom
corner right about now!!! :hotjump: :Spin:
