(I just knew I could get S.T. in there twice)

I love Priest...Hell Bent for Leather and Screaming for Vengeance would top that off...and UFO as well, Force It and Obsession. Speak English or Die is in the top 25, but I really like Rebel and Dictated Aggression better than U.S.A. for M.O.D. Ride the Lightening would be my choice for Metallica, but I'm not a huge fan. Oh, yeah...Countown to Extinction is way up there too...I love Marty Friedman's playing. Diary of a Madman I feel is better than Blizzard. Don't forget an old classic hard rock/heavy metal album...very influential...Jailbreak-Thin Lizzy.

Sorry...I'm getting carried away...I fucking love Metal!

too hard to do, requires too much time wasting deep thought in front of a computer.

Not really...just take a short break from fighting with daddy over your lil' sisters titties.

I like to see peoples lists for ideas of new music to try...if there's something I've missed over the years.

Really, gas...don't you think you already waste enough time in front of a computer?

I am shocked that no one here mentioned Tool. I guess most ppl don't classify them as "metal", but their music is very reminiscent of Black Sabbath. Awesome lyrics, great musicianship, etc...

That is who i would definitely pick for the new generation...

Funny...all the stuff we're mentioning as "new generation" is at least 10 years old. New generation metal would be Shadows Fall, Lamb of God, 3 Inches of Blood...bands like that, right?

Some of the "newer bands" I like are

Uhhh Tool(seen them 20 times so I better like them:D well everything up to Lateralus..There's something I don't like about that album)
Snot
Behemoth
Clutch(they are not new at all, but they still remain one of my favorites)
Nightrage(Tomas Lindberg's new band)
The Red Chord
Uphill Battle
Mastodon( I dont like Leviathin though)
The Haunted
Lamb of God
The Kickass (They jam like Primus but without any vocals..You would dig the drummer, Gaschamber:headbang: .)

There is quite a few more but those are the ones that come to mind right now
