Their is definitely purpose beyond being weird for weird's sake. In fact, many of the songs on In a Flesh Aquarium have a very definitive structure that is quite rewarding upon repeated listens. Not for everyone, but bluntly saying they are horrible is a bit much.

They also put on a great live show.

They really have great live shows. I saw them 3-4 times and they were always great live. I'm not a big fan of their latest album but their previous work was decent.

I've never even listened to this band but as far as I'm concerned statements such as the one above translate as 'Effeminate shit for faggots who wear scarves and think they're smart.'

Should I even bother listening to this band?
