Unsure and Inexact
I guess this thread is a good idea because it is getting hard for me to download 5 dance albums and go through every track just to end up with maybe 7 songs I really like. We can share the music we love to workout to, no matter how gay. Personally, I have different songs for each cardio activity (ie: Biking, Rowing, Running, Stairs). I will start by RARing some of my favourites and uploading them along with a tracklist. Jewtube vids are fine too but I am in a generous mood and my running playlist is the shortest since I only run about 25-30 mins at a time then rotate to another activity.

Without further adieu, here are some of my favourites to run to:

Rasputin - Turasis
Raver's Binge - Black Out Crew
Blade - Imperanon

Silent Night, Bodom Night - COB
Children of Decadence - COB
Goat Rider's Hoarde - 3 Inches of Blood
Unknown Soldier - Warmen
War is all we knw - Gwar
Into the Oblivion - Warmen
Stratosphere - Stratovarius
Oh No - Marina and the Diamonds
I Like It - Enrique Iglesias
Zombie 2K10 - Various
Floor Burn - Pinball
Dschinghis Khan - Die Apokalyptischen Reiter
B4U - DDR
Deadnight Warrior - COB
Bla BLa BLa - Gigi D'Agostino
No Stress - Laurent Wolf

The bolded ones are those which I always find myself using, for the pace mostly as they help keep me going. I usually start with Rasputin because it just has a great opening that helps me transition from walking to running, then I follow up with Raver's Binge to get me going faster, then the rest I'll sprinkle around depending on what I feel like to listen to, and I'll end it with Dschinghis Khan when I'm in the final 2.5 mins, because it reminds me of some kind of military/spartan song. Silly? Yes. Awesome? Yes.

Also, please try to recommend the "best" tracks as well as I have. You don't have to be as detailed/meticulous as I was and it's a matter of taste ofcourse but it can be helpful in weeding through the songs.

Enjoy!

Push it to the Limit - Paul Engemann
Always - Erasure (I cant pretend I'm a Unicorn)
Separate Ways - Journey
Danger Zone - Kenny Loggins
You're The Best - Joe Esposit
Hearts on Fire - John Cafferty
Flash - Queen
Chariots of Fire - Vangelis
Run With Us - Lisa Lougheed
Lets Fighting Love - Trey Parker
Montage - Trey Parker

Slap these on and pretend you're in a training montage from the 80's.

Lately I was doing all my biking to Moonsorrow's Veriasakeet. The chorus in Pimea gets me energized every time, but I was biking around in dense forest stoned out of my mind, there are a lot of long sequences with just acoustic or woodland sounds put in. Though you should know this from listening to Moonsorrow's Veriasakeet, because if you haven't yet you're a bitch nigguh fagot.

Right before my mp3 player died it was Turisas' Battle Metal album, I'd just skip some of the slower songs.

When I'm running, I usually listen this and other songs from Catamenia's Location:COLD album.

In gym and other methods of working out, I mostly listen to BM.

Good call, a lot of BM is really good for cadio, something you can space out too and before you know it you've been moving for over 40min straight.
Then again, I generally smoke pot before most of my workouts :/ Opens the blood vessels, keeps you in the zone :p

I listen to 80's hair metal when pumping the iron (its the best!), and generally symphonic/melodic metal with a steady rhythm when jogging.

I used to smoke a shit ton of weed after I worked out. We'd just use to space out and eat till we passed out. I was 210 lbs my senior year of high school.

Running I can't have music on because it drives me crazy that the earphones are always falling, and while working out (weights and all) I just listen to whatever shit they throw at the gym for the same exact reason, plus I'm extremely good at getting all the cables messy with the weights, so gym music does for me, although I'm fucking sick of the Panamericano shit, I just hate it.

^the thing about headphones and running, I totally agree, pisses me off, looking into some more tight-fitting or even moulded headphones.
Don't have that problem in the gym tho :D:kickass:

Invest $40 into your headphones. Problem solved. Only thing I don't like about wearing my headphones is that I have to run the wire and iPod under my shirt when rowing to I don't fucking rip them out of my ears if they happen to catch on the bar.
