Im trying to form an experimental black metal focused band. I do vocals and guitar and am looking for a second guitarist, bass, drummer, keyboardist, violinist influences include: dimmu borgir, cradle, naglfar, anorexia nervosa. I am in the gold coast area atm but might be moving to brisbane.

i can only think of two atm Dragonlord Dragonland Are thier any mre out there? oh and btw... the Dragonlords should come to australia, we got free beer.

Do you think DL should bring a bigger orchestral element to the next album. or mabye a small string quortet to boost up the atmosphere of the album. Or do you think thats going too far. :flame:

For any metal band from death to thrash to black etc... is it important to have a good theme. Canabil corpse has a gore theme and Nile has an egyptian theme. Does a theme make a band more interesting or not.. :flame:

For me DL was an introduction into the black metal genre i know DL is a some sort of mix between thrash and black metal but still it infuenced me to start listening to allot more darker material. :flame:

Does anyone listen to kataklysm here? Any thoughts on their new album... i think the stuf they have been doing lately is excellent :flame:

If you had a gun to your head and were forced to make a decision between Dragonlord's Rapture and Testament's The Gathering. Which one would you choose to be the better. IMHO Rapture wins it :flame:
