Curious of people's thoughts on these first 4 Jovi albums; Bon Jovi, 7800 Fahrenheit, Slippery, and New Jersey. They recently have been reissued with bonus content. I know hard rock and metal fans use to like Jovi, and may still but not as much, because as we all know their sound and style...
Jorn did an excellent job with these covers. I especially love 'Sacred Heart' and 'Lord of the Last Day'. Here is a review of the album at Metal Asylum http://www.metalasylum.net/reviews/2010/mr10115.php

I hope Maiden bring a couple of the bigger European names like Edguy, Hammerfall, Angra, Blind Guardian, Stratovarius, Primal Fear, or Gamma Ray. These bands could use the exposure and you know how Americans are, so trendy and infliuenced by media and the popular opinion. American metalheads...
They played 'Shot Through The Heart', 'Roulette', and 'Tokyo Road' first night of the tour. Lets hope they keep dustin em off for the entire tour. I'm looking for 'In and Out of Love', 'Breakout', 'Get Ready', and 'Always Run To You'.

Great to see Savatage is back in some form at least. The tracks picked are good but how in the hell is "Believe" not included???? Paul ONeil and Jon Oliva must have not been involved. Someone dropped the ball big time! And I'm assuming its because "Sirens" and "Dungeons" were on Metal Blade...
Gravedigger I feel your pain.
I think the reality of it is these bands should have given a proper push from record labels and radio over ten years ago in the mid to late 90s when heavy metal was still struggling, and even more so in the States because Power Metal does have its success in other...
the lineups for each day are just untouchable. and Chris Degarmo has to be back in Queensryche. Things have never been the same or as good since he left.
Hey Frode, its Rich from Metal Asylum. Good seeing ya again. Here is my review http://www.metalasylum.net/concertreviews/2009/cr0923.php . I just have to remove Aegean Shores from the writeup and setlist. I thought they played it.
Metal Asylum attended this year's Metalway Festival in Spain. Stratovarius, Primal Fear, Blind Gaurdian, Pretty Maids, Gotthard, Wasp, Europe, Tesla, Queensryche, Children of Bodom, Manowar, Riot and many more played.
