I saw this in the Atlanta Journal and Constitution this morning

The 14th Street Bridge is set to open to traffic next week, one year, three months and eight days after it was closed for reconstruction.

At 10 a.m. Thursday, a blue ribbon stretched across the Midtown artery will be sliced in two. By 3 p.m., after the politicians clear out and work crews clear off, traffic that has been dammed for more than a year can legally flow over the bridge, which spans the Downtown Connector.

Awesome. That will make an easier commute for many PP peeps. I have fond memories of walking over that bridge while some band tried to teach me Finnish. "It's 'silta' not 'sealtahs'", or something like that...:err:

Wow, that's good news!

I know there is some lingering construction in that area including a flyover ramp on the east side of the freeway that isn't done yet, but just the bridge is fine for now!
