Anybody remember the band 'Nation'?

I was going through my cd's and pulled out something I had not listened to in a long time.

The band is 'Nation' and they are from Sweden. They have a Yngwie-esque sound to them. The two cd's I have were some of the first imports I ever bought back in '94-'95. Pretty good stuff. I did not notice any of the names of the members as playing with anyone now---just one of those good bands that was not around for to long.

Anybody else remember them????

yep. I remember them putting me to sleep, unfortunately. Too generic, even for their time.

Two members of Nation are now in Dionysus. To me, the only thing really worthwhile about Nation was the guitar solos. Well, if you want more, check out Dionysus's two albums, which have Nation's guitar and bass player and the awesome Olaf Hayer on vocals.

I was thinking about those guys the other day, kinda reminded me of a combination of TNT and Yngwie - I'll have to check out Dionysus...
