These guys started out as a death metal/deathcore outfit, and they slowly evolved into the progressive/technical death metal realm. Especially with this new release. At times it reminds me of cynic, opeth and porcupine tree.

Not to many people are fans of harsh vocals on this forum, from what I've seen anyway, but give this album a chance. They're stepping in the right direction

Yeah you hear A LOT of Opeth and some Cynic in this new album over the previous one.

This album is nuts and completely not what I expected them to do. I hear a lot of Devin Townsend in this too.

Their debut album sounded like Cynic/Atheist too. They have never been "deathcore" just fyi. Their singer was in The Taste Of Blood on my label and THEY were death core for sure.
