ER's last couple productions have been quite good IMO. I liked EP and Those Whom The Gods Detest quite a bit soundwise. (Though I can't really take a whole Nile album musically! lol) They aren't doing this one at Mana?

For tuning so low on 24.75 guitars, Cannibal has a good sound going. (The Cadillacs are 24.75? If I remember correctly from the EP bonus DVD.)

Edit: 5:33 is siiiiiiiiiiiicccccccccccckkkkkkkkkkkkk.

Was about to post this also. The Sonic Ranch studio is where Neil Kernon has recorded some stuff before right ? And where Cannibal recorded for Bloodthirst (with Colin Richardson !) and Pissing Razors did some stuff there too.

The Cannibal Corpse studio reports are always sick and this one is no exception. Among others :

-Rob Barett wearing a Sick Of It All shirt = fuck yeah
-Paul Mazurkiewicz pinching his back nerve during a drums take = priceless
-same Paul whining while being upside down
-Pat "Pro Tools" O' Brien
-the traditional sick amp tryout while playing some murderous chuggy riffs, and the "ok that's good" that follows

Can't wait for episode 2 !
