I'm always raving about Yanni's album "Live at the Acropolis" as being one of the best instrumental albums out there, I found a clip from the DVD whicvh happens to be my fav song from the album, although it is slightly edited from the CD version. Check out the killer bass/violin solo as well:

Since there's a pretty varied listening group here, I'm just curious to see opinions on the tune. Yes, Yanni is a pretty boy! Ignore that part...

What's also cool is he can't read/write sheet music, he composes this stuff without all that and has someone else work all that up.

That was really cool - very skilfully put together, and quite interesting to listen to - just teetered on the edge of overloading the cheese-o-meter, but didn't quite tip the scales. Personally, I reckon the violinist owned the bassist.
