Here is a powertab i wrote out for the song "Excessit". I'm really curious to see what you guys think of it, especially guitar/bass players. Also, if a member of the actual band could check it out, that would be great too.

Hey, this is my favorite song..the first riff with distortion on this song is my favorite on the album!
I will check out the tab better when i get my hands on the guitar..
But it sounds very very good !!! Bravo! Nevertheless, you deserve praise the effort on this song, for sure..

I really cant judge the whole thing but from the parts that I did go through it was accurate.

Well, I couldn't figure it out. The bass goes down to Eb 3 times in the song, all for those 2 chords near the end of the verse. But if the guitar was tuned to Eb too it would make some of the riffs unnecessarily harder... but that would be easy to change.

I'm sure there'll be someon who disagrees and thinks its quite innacurate, but I'd be willing to bet that no-one will do a better one! Thanks

The bass tuning should ne Db Ab Db Gb - the entire set 1/2 a note lower plus the E string another full note.

Actually, it is Eb not drop D. Read the post about the songwriting process as posted by Lars Norberg. The only track in drop D is Moving Spirit.

hmmm, he does not say there that it is the only one in that tuning, does he? From what I heard when trying to transcribe, there are notes lower than Eb, and he does not use a 5 string yet on the record.

No, he does not say it is the only one, but he does say that the record is in Eb and he only make the reference of Moving Spirit being in drop Db. If there were others I am sure he would have mentioned such. It doesn't really matter anyway. The tab sounds pretty damn accurate.

Greetings! The tuning is Eb, Ab, Db, Gb on the bass for the most part of the song. I drop down to a Db, Ab, Db, Gb tuning for the guitar solo. Haven't checked the tab yet...

Ok, we were both right. I don't play bass and I've never noticed that it goes down another full step during the solo.
