What are your favorite power metal albums from the 90's? Some of mine:

Labyrinth - Return to Heaven Denied
Hammerfall - Glory to the Brave
Blind Guardian - Somewhere Far Beyond
Stratovarius - Destiny

Helloween-Better Than Raw
Labyrinth-Return to Heaven Denied
Falconer-Chapters From A Vale Forlorn
Iced Earth-Night of the Stormrider

I don't really listen to power metal anymore, it's been a long, long time. But I used to love it during the 90's and I still own a good number of CDs.

Guess these are my all-time favorites:

1 - Blind Guardian - Nightfall in Middle Earth
2 - Blind Guardian - Somewhere far Beyond
3 - Iced Earth - Something Wicked...
4 - Rhapsody - Symphony of Enchanted Lands
5 - Grave Digger - Excalibur
6 - Rhapsody - Legendary Tales
7 - Demons and Wizards - S/T
8 - Hammerfall - Glory to the Brave
9 - Running Wild - Black Hand Inn
10 - Grave Digger - Tunes of War

Angel Dust - Bleed
Angra - Holy Land
Blind Guardian - Imaginations from the Other Side
Existence - Reign in Violence
Gamma Ray - Powerplant
Iced Earth - first three

Night of the Stormrider is the only one I think is great, but all are at least solid albums.

Not a big Power Metal fan, but i like these two bands. My favourite albums would be;

Iced Earth - Burnt Offerings
Angel Dust - Border of Reality

Honestly, the best thing Iced Earth released was Days of Purgatory, thought it's a compilation - i would pick this.

Good to see some Angel Dust fans here. I saw them back in '01, with Opeth, God Forbid, and Nevermore at the old Brass Mug in Tampa, Fl. Put on a good show in that tiny venue. There was six bands, and for only $17.00 !
