Took the average score from above (total score divided by number of votes), then I multiplied that by the most amount of votes (so I assumed everyone voted for all albums) and I got the following:

See? It is material if you don't vote for all albums. I really changes the averages and skews the actual numbers. Please try to vote for all albums in this round.

I am not sure which set of data to use. Probably the first one because it's representative of how many votes were actually received for each album

Why do we need to vote again? Isnt everyones vote already cast,assuming you remove the eliminated albums from their top ten? Why in the world woukd the order suddenly change if not?

The reason I'm doing this is because I don't think the last thread was a good indicator of what the top albums should be given the fact that not everyone voted for every single album.

This is a dry run for the other ones anyway so I'm trying to figure out what works and what doesn't.

Not only that, if you have to rate 5 albums vs. 10, there could be a material change in the order.

I voted silly. I just don't understand why we are doing a top 5 opposed to just leaving at 10. Are we going to do a top 3 next? Then a top 2? Where does it end?
