I think this is true of any band who has a distinct and recognizable sound. Love'em or hate'em, Disturbed sounds like Disturbed. They've carved out their own niche with a signature sound. And given their unparalleled success, I think that's to be commended. However, the downside of a distinct, signature sound is an inevitable commonality within your songwriting.
