Has anyone made .NKIs of the Chango samples?

I'm lookin for some .NKIs of the Chango Samples to use in my (free version) Kontakt 5 player. Anyone got em or know where to link me? Thanksss

kontakt player (free version) only plays licensed sample libraries.

you can't load unlicensed content or make your own .nki libraries, etc.


besides... chango has made these available to the public already.

Damn I was unaware that it didn't play unlicsenced NKIs. Thanks for the heads up on that Tim. I bought the Chango samples when Cameron released them but am really getting tired of mapping them (the wavs) out using Short Circuit and having to drag the individul midi notes the full length out. Anyway free way around this?

why don't you just ask cam for the .nki? i'm sure (if you purchased the wavs) he will just send you the nki.

Emailed Cameron and got the NKIs the next morning. Right on!

If you've bought them already do what I did and ask Cameron for them. If not, buy them and make sure the NKIs come with.

yes, but only a snare, kick and toms
there's no .nki for cym/chinese

Oh true. I don't have the cymbal NKIs either. Not sure he intends to release those. He would've made them available by now in he was.
