"Part of the burgeoning UK Thrash scene, Heretic arent exactly similar to any of their thrashing comrades, with a whole lot more of a grind/death influence, and to be honest, a lot less of a typical thrash sound. It has all the grinding intensity of bands like Carcass or Gorerotted but with a distinct thrash flavour, often bringing to mind the tutonic sounds of Kreator or Sodom but never sounding like any one of the bands they take from. A British band with a British sound.''
