It's been a LOOOONG time since i've even looked at this forum. However, I just recorded a song, and I am very satisfied with the mix. I would very much like to get everyone's opinion and see if there's anything I missed In my ignorance, or arrogance.

I appreciate everyone's' time.

Guitar tone is done with the Line 6 Pod X3.
I didn't want to tune my bass down to C Standard, so i recorded it with the gutiar, and pitch shifted it down an octave. Actually came out pretty decent and fulfills it's purpose in the mix, (in my opinion at least).

i also tried out a different style of vocals that I've been working on. The high screams are probably not everyone's cup-o-tea, but i would still like some feedback.

Anyways without further monologue, the mix.

Guitar is alright, the other elements need to fit with it better. Your drums have no power or weight behind them especially your kick. There is very little bass energy going on, get your bass more present in the high end and with more energy in the low end. Cymbals are mostly fine. Ride bell is too quiet, automate it higher.

Okay, i think i fixed the issue with the drums having no power, and i also think i found what i was doing wrong with the bass guitar, and corrected it.

I updated the file on the bandcamp, but i will go ahead and post the link again.

Unless a download would be better, so you don't have to deal with bandcamp's processing? anyways.

What think?

That's fair, i don't have a drum program, and copy/paste the samples like a moron. I also have a fairly shallow pool of samples with which to work, so i need to expand and drop some cash on good high quality programs/samples/hardware. But still, i'm glad you like it overall!
