Kiko Loureiro is the new Megadeth guitarist?

Wonder if there's any truth to this rumor and how it affects Angra in September. Not sure I like this rumor very much

The way I read it is Chris Adler and Kiko are only going to be on the record. Not permanent members.

It would appear that he's a member, not just a session guy doing the new album. Intriguing, to say the least, both from the standpoint of what it means for Angra and for how he'll fit in Dave's world.

"Regarding the works with ANGRA, I believe he will comply with all activities that he has already committed to and he will always be part of our family. He will definitively not be able to turn his back for something he helped build with so much effort. I'm sure we will still make a lot together, either in or out of ANGRA.

And Endgame was the best Megadeth album since Friedman was in the band.

I think this first Kiko era album will be a monster, but I think as time goes on and Dave starts micro-managing the band again, the output will become weaker and weaker. That seems to be Megadeth's MO.

But I do believe we will get at least 1 killer album out of this...

From what I understand, the album is already completely written, so I would think Kiko's input on this will be pretty minimal.

I was there and Megadeth gave an excellent show. Mustaine was very into it and spoke a lot between the songs. He seemed very pleased to see a big crowd, despite the menacing skies. He was in good shape and quite fine voice, much better than when I saw the saw at the last Gigantour (with Motorhead and Volbeat).

Totally disagree. 'Endgame' was the strongest 'Deth disc in many moons. Broderick shoved a firecracker up Dave's ejection port.

Speaking of which, I wonder what Broderick's next move will be? He's to good to sit on the sidelines for long.
