Hey, I just wrote some lyrics and I would like to get an opinion.


Song's called Abandon Reason.

Flawed evolution burdens this hopeless world
Abandon reason, chaos will now unfold
Days, now, they linger in unrest and blackened smoke

When the skies part far and wide
Lightning strikes and hope will die
Mans' blood shall eclipse the sun
Slowly consuming everyone

Empty and hollow, all that was good is gone
Unknown tomorrow, hate, now our greatest flaw
In filth we wallow, vainglory, the only law

Viewing truth in mankind's eyes
is to see a thousand lies
Mans' blood shall eclipse the sun
Obsolescence has begun

Life in despair, Death waits for all
Asking forgiveness, none shall be given

With its corruption, the human race slips away
This, the inception, the end of humanity
The disintegration of light from this darkened day

In the end the world collides
Lightning strikes and freedom dies
The foundation slowly falls
The demise of one and all

I always found that to form a good opinion, you should hear lyrics and not read them.

I always found that to form a good opinion, you should hear lyrics and not read them.

IMO that's one of the reasons that Warrel is such a standout lyricist/singer. The already great lyrics are magnified by his delivery of them.
