Will be picking this up definantly. I enjoyed their other 2 releases along with the EP so I'm really looking forward to getting this.

I should go look for it. :saint:

Actually, I'm just going off of what I heard on their MySpace page and it smokes. Can't wait to grab the disc.

Ok...after reading this, I just checked out their myspace...I definantly agree with you....it's great stuff indeed.

I have Elegies and was not impressed when I heard it. Is this new album better than Elegies? Elegies is the only Machine Men album I have heard, so I'd be interested to see what fans say about any differences between Elegies and the new album. Those of you that have heard the new album, anyway. ;)

Um did you read the thread?

Yes, and the thread is a whole lot of "All their albums are great!" Hearing "they've stepped things up" for the new album really doesn't tell me much.

Well Okay. I love Elegies but its not even close to as powerful as Circus of Fools is. Its like they took everything they have done in the past threw them in a blender with some metal steroids, locked themselves in a cave for a few months and rocked the shit out of the new material. All I have to say you will have to hear it to understand...

Also if you don't like a band or a particular style in the first place, not much will change your opinion even with the change that MM has done, thats just a generalization that I have seen over the years.

Nice use of simile. ;)

My opinion might not change, but I believe in giving a band a fair chance. I wasn't terribly impressed with Angra the first time I heard them (I know, blasphemy!) but now I love them. So it does happen from time to time. :)

I have been a fan of Machine Men since August 21, 2004, when a certain Finn, who happens to work for Machine Men's Management group, gave me a copy of Machine Men's CD, and the rest is history. I LOVE THEM, and also Twilightning which he also gave me. I can't wait for the new one, i mean the new one kicks major butt.

I received Elegies over last weekend. I can see why you guys said they sounded like a Bruce Dickinson solo cd now. I Liekd it but much prefer the new one!!

MACHINE MEN's video for its new single, "No Talk without the Giant", has been posted online at this location (Windows Media, 13 MB). The song is taken from the Finnish melodic metal act's upcoming album, "Circus of Fools", due in February 14 in Finland via Century Media Records. You can pre-order now at Recordshop X

Vocalist Antony recently had the following to say about the "No Talk without the Giant" video shoot: "The other guys woke up 3:00 a.m. on Sunday morning — I didn't sleep at all 'cos I was on the road with some Satanic Christmas band. I sat two hours in a train and the guys drove 300km from our hellish hometown Suolahti to Helsinki. The shooting place was a really big and old train hall — really cool and cruel place. I think my neck is broken 'cos we banged our heads about 10 hours and we really hope you'll enjoy the video."

MACHINE MEN will team up with FINNTROLL, TAROT, DIE APOKALYPTISCHEN REITER and AFTER FOREVER for the Earthshaker Roadshock tour in April/May 2007.

Satanic Christmas band .... hahaha. That's a pretty simple, but cool video .. shows the fellas in action real well. Hopefully this band willbe invited to Prog Power in the near future.
