If you had a metal band in central Africa, you could rule the continent! Same primary concern though (generating revenue).

I find it interesting that we're on the capita as Australia, Spain and France. Love my country, but we have a complete lack of appreciation for heavy metal music. If it isn't pop or country these days, it doesn't exist.

The prevalence of Europe here doesn't surprise me. I wonder what the radio support for metal in the Scandinavian counties is like, because it's been almost non-existent in the states unless you're talking some of the more mainstream bands, many of which wouldn't even qualify as metal to some.

The only think I find a little surprising on that map is that I thought the UK would have been higher. I thought they would have been at least on the level of Germany.
