where were you in 1972
and just for grins
what were you listening to?

I had just moved out of my parents house;
was 21;
believe I was listening to the musical box, and benifit by jethro tull

Was a Senior in High School.. (19) ( had to do 4th grade over) "" some kind of Spelling issue I think? Didnt Know or heard of the word PROG.....But I liked Genesis though...

I was a Junior in High School (mind you an all-male, mandatory Air Force ROTC high school). I was heavy into Deep Purple, Uriah Heep, Wishbone Ash,
Zeppelin, etc. I was just getting into ELP, Genesis, Renaissance, Yes, Moody Blues, King Crimson, Camel, and the Canterbury bands...basically all the great early Prog bands.

I was 8 & selling glue on the street corner to Bob
(yes people that is what happened to him) :heh:

I was 8 and listening to a lot of my older brother and sister's singer-songwriter albums, like the first America album and Cat Steven's "Teaser and the Firecat". I still love both albums.

I was 12 and just starting to really get into and collect music.
