New Shinedown

My favorite rock band on the planet these days. I don't think they will ever come close to the "Sounds of Madness" era, but I still can't wait for the disc.

Thanks for posting!

Some more detail here...

Talk about hitting under served markets! I've never heard of some of them. Socorro, Texas? Turns out it's outside of El Paso. But Santa Ana Star isn't too bad for Albuquerque, since Rio Rancho is just a suburb, it's not too far away, about 45 minutes, and happens to be in walking distance to my daughters house, so bonus.

I really like the first three albums but they seriously changed direction and looks to still be changing, this is the worst song I ever heard from them. I may be done with the band. That and the fact they never tour Northern california (barring Sacremento, really). Alienate fans and you get what you get.

I agree Bear, it's not bad but not great.

I think losing Jasin Todd was the key, they will never come close to writing anything like The Sound of Madness again.

Well since they never play live in California that I have noticed, I have never seen them and I did not even realize the lineup changes. Funny thing all that happened after I started listening to the band. Did some reading on them. To bad its obvious that the music took a dive after Jasin left the band, he wrote all the relative music that they had prior to Amarillis. C'est la vie

That was a tough listen ..... Glenn turned me onto The Sound Of Madness ....... and as others have said, it's not the same ........ I do think the singer is awesome though........ pipes from hell.
Yep, The Sound Of Madness was awesome IMO. But the albums after are really patchy, I only like a few songs from each of them. Too bad...
