new Therion question

I was wondering how the double disc new Therion record is? I wasn't too into their older stuff, but it's been a long time since I last heard them. I am definitely intrigued by this release and have almost purchased it on numerous occassions. How would you describe it? Like what bands have a similar sound to newer Therion?
