NWOBHM Forever

Last couple months I've been obsessed with the first two Tokyo Blade albums. Put off listening to them for a long time because of hard rock tags and middling friend ratings on RYM but when I finally got around to it my expectations were far exceeded. The debut is giving Angel Witch a run for the title of my favorite NWOBHM album.

The second album has a more proficient vocalist but also more filler. It's worse on the whole I'd say, but still has some killer songs on it:

I have an original pressing of that Tysondog album, funnily enough it only cost like $5 from a second-hand record store that mostly has a customer base of old people obsessed with Elvis and country music.

I don't think Dark Star are worth it, I think they reminded me of early Grim Reaper..cool for a week or two then why bother
