What a killer album!!!! Sounds just like Blind Guardian during the "Tales From the Twilight" and "Somewhere Far Beyond" era. Even the singer sounds very similar to Hansi.

Definitely one of the highlights of 2004!!!! A must for any power metal fan!

I'm not quite as impressed with this album as a lot of other people are. I mean, it's definitely a solid effort, and the band has a great sound, but for me, the melodies are nowhere near catchy enough for me to really compare them to Blind Guardian. Most of the songs run together, because there aren't any real hooks that cause me to instantly be able to tell them apart, like there always are with BG. The exception to this is the song "Sanity Soiled", which is an absolutely kickass song. It shows me that, even though they sound solid already, they have a lot more potential which I hope they'll fully realize on later albums.
