POISON/RATT SUMMER 2007 TOUR

Well, if you like your hardrock laced with glam, booze, and suntan lotion, then you might want to check out Poison and Ratt this summer. Actually, I'm seriously considering going to the Greenville, SC show mainly due never seeing Ratt with Stephen Pearcy. Ratt was my band back in the day, I'm 99.9% sure I'll be buying a ticket on May 5th. Is anyone else planning on seeing this tour?

hrmmm... my wife is in love with C.C. Deville for some strange reason, and since I cannot find an Atlanta date on there, we may very well make a short road trip and see them in Birmingham. That's about the closest location I see on the list. I'll have to talk to her about that. Sounds like a nice little overnight trip.

Poison always puts on a great show! and I've never seen RATT at all, but was a big fan and had all their albums (on cd) back in the day.

I saw Ratt and Poison together, back in the day, while Ratt was supporting Dancing Undercover and Poison was supporting Look What the Cat Dragged In. Fun show. Both bands sounded tight and were very energetic. Ahhh... the glory days... when men dressed like women and women dressed like strippers. I miss the 80s.

City Stages is a big two day festival. there are planty of other bands playing too, you'll have to stick around.....

I may check it out to see Ratt and White Lion. I do hate Poison though with every fiber of my body. So many bands more talented than them and they sold all the records. That just doesn't seem right.

OK, here is my Ratt story. Me and my guitar player back in the day went a concert. The headliner was RATT. The support was, Twisted Sister and Mamas Boys. I wanted to see Mamas Boys and Ratt. Did not care much for TS. Now, my buddy drove and the punk was late so I missed Mammas boys. Now, I sat through TS and could not wait for Ratt. Then the bastard said lets go before Ratt came on. The only band he cared about was TS. I was way young and had no money for a cab so I had no choice but to go. So I have never seen Ratt even though I went to a RATT show.

I am sure no body wanted to know this but this thread made me think of this and I got all mad and I had always heard that writing is good theropy. It's not working, it just made me remeber that the same dude did the same thing to me at a wasp concert. Bastard!

I may have to go with you to this one EOT.

This would seem like a no-brainer show to have at Lakewood, but what do I know?
