Residence Inn (Important)

I received a call from the sales manager (Ingrid) at the Residence Inn today.... When I called them back I was informed that my room may not be available on Thursday due to the New Orleans evacuee situation.... I know at least one other couple that have gotten the same call....

I just called, and told them to guarantee my reservation. They did. I currently hold a reservation at the Hampton Inn too, in case anything happens.

yeah i called a few days ago to the Hampton for the same reason. they told me that talk of losing your room was only a "rumor," and was completely false, at least in regards to the Hampton. kinda irresponsible to inform people of this shit with virtually no time to make other arrangements. hope things work out for everyone.

The residence inn called and told me the same thing. they said that for thursday night theyd put me up in a different hotel like a mile away, but when i called back later she said that they had moved enough people that i could still stay in the residence in all 3 nights

Was this the big Residence Inn closer to the venue or the smaller Residence Inn with the pub underneath and conveniently located next to the porn store (further down from the venue and on the same street)?
