What do you reckon the best Satyricon album is? I've only got Dark Medieval Times and I love it

I've only heard Nemises Divina and The Shadowthrone.

Try The Shadowthrone. It's blend of black/folk/keyboards is really good. It's like troo black metal with keyboards etc...

It's one of the classics.

By the way, I was born in Perth. How's the weather over there?

Phil Anselmno has a spot on the new album! AHHH! That sucks...

Shadowthrone- a continuation of Dark Medieval Times with a more foresty/mountain atmosphere instead of the medieval/castle atmosphere. The cover really gives a lot of depth to the atmosphere I think (Someone in a purple velvet robe standing in VERY dim light in a forest).

Nemesis Divina- Less keyboards, heavier sound. Contains the classic Mother North!
