SEVEN KINGDOMS Issue Update On New Album and More

Florida-based SEVEN KINGDOMS have issued the following update in regards to what's going on with the band right now:

The band is getting ready to enter Morrisound studios in Tampa, Florida with producer Jim Morris (Iced Earth) to begin recording the follow-up to their 2010 self-titled Nightmare Records release. The 11 track album is still untitled, more info is expected to be released shortly.

Guitarist Camden Cruz commented on the writing process for the new album:

"Fans can expect a more dynamic SEVEN KINGDOMS this time around. We have spent the greater part of a year transposing what we have learned into this new record. It has been since the middle of 2009 since we have written anything together and I really believe that you will hear three more years of experience on this album. It is overall a little bit faster, but not in a thrashy way; it is more in the vein of older school power metal that sometimes seems to be overlooked now days. We have been able to shape something in our "sound" that will set us apart from our forefathers while still being true to the genre. Expect a twin turbo version of our self titled release. The record is the most challenging material we have physically played to date and it has a lot of guitar work on it. Sabrina has even become more herself with this record as we have all grown as musicians. We aim to bring a polished version of what a Modern Day Power Metal Band should sound like. This should be a record that everyone can enjoy from the brand new listener to the most diehard Power Metal fan with more hooks, more shred, more epicness, More In your face double bass, more literal bass, Just more POWER."

Coinciding with entering the studio, the band has just finished filming their very first official video clip for the new record's opener, "After The Fall". The band's first pro video clip, the story is based on.... George Martin's Game of Thrones, which is also the story which the band's name is based out of). Ironically, the same type of cameras used for filming the HBO show were also used for the band's video.

In other SEVEN KINGDOMS news, bassist Aaron Sluss (Bass) has just inked an exclusivity deal with WARWICK, one of the most popular musical instruments brand around the world. Christopher Kunitz of WARWICK commented on the Aaron’s signing.

“Warwick is pleased to welcome Aaron into our illustrious roster of endorsed artists. Aaron has shown a loyalty to the Warwick brand throughout his musical career and his time in SEVEN KINGDOMS. Warwick has a rich history in the ever-growing power metal genre and are excited that Aaron and Seven Kingdoms help us to solidify that even further.”

Sluss added:
"I'm super excited to be partnering up with none other than Warwick Basses & Amps! In addition to the Warwick Vampyre LTD bass I've been playing, Warwick is hooking me up with an awesome Jonas Hellborg pre and power-amp rig! I can't wait to dig into it and see what kind of killer bass tones we can bring you on this next SEVEN KINGDOMS record. The Warwick Brand is synonymous with high quality bass gear so I'm honored to be working with them and look forward to a long and heavy relationship!"

Pretty stoked on how it came out! And thanks to Heather for the AWESOME corset she did for Sabrina!

Cam - be careful with the damned corset for Sabrina - sure she looks great, but she has AWESOME pipes... pipes which need AIR!!!

All joking aside, terribly psyched to hear the next album. The last one is still a lot of fun... sometimes my son even lets me have it for the car, when he isn't playing it full power in the basement.

haha! thats for sure! then again, she must adapt because that damn corset looks soo good on her! lol I asked her if she could sing in it and she said it was actually pretty comfortable considering the squeeze factor of corsets in general..

We shall seeeeeee.....\m/

also, she was in that thing from 10:30am to almost 7:00 with no breaks for the video shoot - that is crazy!

Hey I can not wait to hear the new stuff. And I am stoke about seeing this Video. I continue to wish yall the best.

I would like to thank Sabrina and Camden for the opportunity to work on the corset for Sabrina, and to Jen for sending them my way. It was a pleasure and fun to design and make. She does look amazing! And by the way a good corset should be comfortable and supportive not painful and restrictive. That being said Im glad she was able to sustain all day in it! Cant wait to see the video and hear the new album!

More vids today hopefully... Been destroying 14 hour sessions since Monday. Stuff is sounding super great so far. Half the rhythm guitars were tracked yesterday, should be finishing up on that today!

Some more quick teasers for ya!
