Tips for a Ghoul/Gwar sound???

Got a band coming in soon for a single and asking for a thrashy Ghoul/Gwar sound. Anyone have any general tips or things I should know??? Never tried to get this kind of mix before haha. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've got a 5150II/POD/and a butt load of samples. And I'm not afraid to use any of em lol.

yup

5150 will get you there ... use a lot of presence ... you want a more treble & mid heavy tone than bass ... very sharp with lots of pick attack

I think there might be a free sonic maximizer vst out there ... you could try that and run the guitar through it to see where the sound is

Nice thanks to both of you! I actually had that exciter vst and forgot. Got it back when I was in my DOWNLOAD ALL THE FREE THINGS phase lol.
