What ever happened with the planned release "Brave Yester Days: A Kompendium"?? I was really looking foreward to buying legitimate versions of these songs.

that's a question I'd like to discover too. Surely it should take that long to slap a couple of eps onto a disk and ship it out?!?

Avantgarde Music seems to be having a lot of delays with its releases nowadays. For example, the Ulver -- Nattens Madrigal -re-issue was delayed for several months before it finally got released.
