Manowar U.S. tour dates

"I’ll finish with some positive thoughts:

There was a lady in a wheelchair at the front row rocking out with her husband, which was pretty cool to see. Or as Joey DeMaio probably would say, “Mandicapped”."
____

I was at the Regency show--see my post: Manowar vs Dark Tranquility.... Anyway, in addition to agreeing with you 100%, I just wanted to say how absolutely hilarious "Mandicapped" is, especially in light of "ManFrancisco" (which has probably been what San Francisco has been called by many people over the years for the obvious reason).

The worst band I've ever seen in terms of restrictions of recordings was Danzig. I think I saw him 4-5 years ago, and you couldn't even be caught using your phone even between sets if you were in the venue section, only in the lobby.

LOL - well we all know the reason for that!!!!
That being said, DANZIG rules!

That's 'cause you're not a teenager anymore. We old people have no idea what is cool. ;-)

I've only had bad tinnitus from a show twice since I grew up.. Blind Guardian in 2010, because I stupidly parked myself 3 feet from one of their extra speakers stage left... my fault.

The other time was Accept when they opened for Kreator - when they did the initial scream for Fast As A Shark, Tormilo's vocals were way too high, and I felt my ears go immediately. despite being at least 30 feet from any speakers.. it was so bad that I could hear ringing during Kreator's set.

Tinnitus is a permanent and debilitating condition. You may very well have permanent damage and just not be aware of it. It has nothing to do with how old you are. Your eardrums aren't designed to be battered.

Well, I said that I thought there were about 800 people there, so I missed it by 1. I can't get much closer than that. The capacity isn't 1,424. The Regency's website puts the maximum capacity at 1,050, including the mezzanine (which I correctly put at 200 and was curtained off), parlor (room where shirts were sold), and stage.

Yeah, apparently it holds water since a band that sold almost 10 million records can't sell out a major market club!

How many tix would an Angra + Andre reunion do on a US tour?

You're one of the smartest people around here, and that's the best you can do bro?

Your question has nothing to do with Manowar and their numbers. For the "greatest metal band in the world", I'd expect them to be pulling thousands per show. Good job at trying to land a personal jab. :)

As for Angra and Andre, of course they would pack most rooms... in my house. ;)

Most of the greatest Metal bands of all time would sell even less than an 800-person Manowar show @ $90/ticket.
