I love how the biggest complaint on the forum is the lack of setlist diversity. Then people go and request the same fucking songs that they play every other tour..

I like subtle messups, adds some Character to the recording. I like knowing the human element is still prevalent.

Looking at the setlists from the Euro tour, it looks like in the 9times I'll have seen Symphony X, it'll be atleast the 7th time hearing multiple songs. With all the killer material they have, they really SHOULD be doing the Dream Theater way of mixing up the setlist nightly, never playing the...

Had a nice conversation with Jason Rullo at NAMM a couple weeks ago. Albums gonna be out in May, theres gonna be a 12minute-ish song, no Full 20+ minute epics. The Nevermore tour will be BEFORE the albums release. And yes, they'll be playing a couple cuts from the new record on tour.

On the live album, his hands are mirroring themselves Snare+Tom note for not until :53 where he goes to just snare. A little bass drum work at the end of a couple phrasings, but the hands mirror each other the entire time. Hope that helps.

I was there too. It was pretty packed for a small room. I'd say over 250, which is respectable for Hartford on a Sunday night. Tesseract was phenomenal. Absolutely amazing. Devy put on hell of a show. Well worth the price of admission.

Hey man, thanks for the words! We try to spice it up each song. Our EP coming out has 6 tracks, and I think they stand out pretty well on their own, and become more Agressive Euro Power Metal ala- Rage and Mercenary, with screaming and a couple breakdowns.
