Into the Electric Castle - 20th Anniversary Edition

Just saw an interview with Arjen in Prog Magazine. He is working on this....and it will include a 5.1 version. Be still my beating heart! My favorite Ayreon title, by far.

    RIP, Warrel Dane

Dead at 48 :-( I loved Dreaming Neon Black and Dead Heart in a Dead World in particular. His voice was perfect for their music. http://bravewords.com/news/warrel-dane-legendary-sanctuary-nevermore-singer-dead-at-48

    Greg Lake has died

Wow, very sad. We lost Keith within the last year or so, now this. ELP was a *huge* influence on me as a kid, and Welcome Back My Friends....was one of the first albums I ever bought. I would sit there and listen to it on my crappy record player with the built-in speakers, just mesmerized at...

Big Big Train - Pale Folklore

Wow, unless some godly-status release hits me in the next 6 months, this will be my disc of the year, by a mile. I can't stop listening to this. So many ooooh and ahhhhh moments, beautiful music, great singing, etc. Chills. Here's the bummer though- I've explored their prior stuff and it's...

Infinite Spectrum - Haunter of the Dark

Geez, missed the announcement on this one too! Loved the last one, which came out of nowhere to kick my ass majorly. Is there a Lovecraft overtone, given the title?

    Oddland - Origin

Just saw on Facebook that these guys are signed to Sensory and a new CD, Origin, is on the way. I must have missed the announcement- that's awesome news. I have been playing Treachery of Senses a lot lately and am looking forward to the new one.

    RIP, Prince....

David Bowie, Glenn Frey, Keith Emerson, and now Prince. Tough year for music.

    RIP, Keith Emerson

I am very sad. Keith Emerson of Emerson, Lake, and Palmer has died, probably by his own hand. ELP had a **huge** influence on me when I was very young and helped shape my budding love of music. I got their triple album "Welcome Back My Friends...." when I was in fourth or fifth grade and just...

Sonus Umbra- is there a new vocalist?

Saw the new release. I love their earlier stuff, but the vox on "Winter Soulstice" (sic) were pretty bad, and I am by no means a vox weenie. Does anyone know if this is the same singer now? I looked around and didn't see anything, but Ken gave it a 'Highly recommended'.

Just announced a Seattle date, with presale tomorrow- w00t!! He's playing at a theater in the University District which is a pain to get to on a weekday, but I will make the trek to see him again. Roine Stolt on bass and guitars this time out.

    The Yes CD/Blu-Ray reissues

Is there a schedule somewhere for the future releases? If not, does anyone know what is next and what the timeframe is? Thanks.

    Steve Hackett's 'Genesis Extended' tour

I saw this last night at the Moore Theater last night(it's an old-style theater with balcony, holding about 1400). Great show- Hackett doesn't have a lot of stage presence but lordy can he ever play the guitar. The backing band was very good too- keyboards, guitar/bass/Chapman stick, a general...

    ELP Brain Salad Surgery deluxe

    3. DVD-A: Hi-res versions of the original mix as well as a new stereo remix done by Jakko Jakszyk. Is this DVD-A in surround sound? Thanks.

    New Glass Hammer

So the original was a double CD, the new version is 3. Is there a CD of bonus material or something? Thanks.

    SHM format

Seeing the listing for the Kenso boxed set- what are people's opinions of the SHM format? I've read lots of mixed reviews both good and bad, bits are bits are bits, etc. But I paid thru the nose for the Rush SHM discs and they are by far the best-sounding versions of these discs, to my ears...

    Memory Garden - Doomain

{yeah, I spelled it correctly  } 4-16 release on Metal Blade Records. Is this on your radar scope? Thanks!

    Avantasia and Amorphis

Sorry if this has been asked, but when will you have these new titles available? Also, will you have the various versions? Thanks, Chris
