I am catching up on new releases after my marathon prep for the festival. One of the new ones that has caught my attention is Armed Cloud's Obsidian Desert. This is a strong prog metal release with plenty of chops and a vocalist who sounds a bit like Geddy Lee. I see that they will be one of the opening bands at PP Europe.
