For the Agalloch fans....

What and let guitarist hog all the glory? Drummers are people too, ya know.

Haha, no that's not what I meant. I'm a drummer myself (you can hear me in my sig link), I like more the style of playing to try and compliment the music and song as a whole to make it sound 'right' instead of going crazy with fills and stuff trying to stretch your ego that your a good drummer. I feel the drummer on Ashes did this very well. The outro to "Fire Above, Ice Below" is a perfect example for me, it's pretty simple but it just sounds fucking awesome!

It was a joke, brah. I'll take a good groove any day over your Manginis or your Langs.

After 10 years of fandom I'm finally seeing these guys for my 1st time.
Bought tix for the NYC show before they added a stop in Mass.
After some debate, I've decided to stick with my travel plans to NYC.
The venue (LPR) seems to suit their style perfectly.
It will be epic !!

These are the two bonus tracks from Marrow of the spirit - I didn't upload these, just found them on youtube

This is a very beautiful Piano Piece, reminds me just a bit of Dimmu Borgir's Sorgens Kammer

Dark Ambient piece

on the Oak Folk compilation, I'm reminded of Sol Invictus
