ASKA (Dallas, TX) was born during the nascent alternative/grunge movement of the early 90's and eschewed the popular fad in favor of playing metal music…their way. From the first release to their fifth, the band embarked on a variety of world tours that would be the envy of better established acts and nets them notoriety, credibility, two indie record company contracts, financial gain, and 37 countries notched on their belts to date and counting. In 2009 ASKA has played Nightmare Metalfest II, Warriors of Metalfest, Keep It True XII, and has been invited to play several festivals in Europe in 2010.

Hallows Eve are true veterans of the Atlanta metal scene, paving the way for bands such as Stuck Mojo, Sevendust, and Mastodon. 2008 marked the release of the long-awaited and critically acclaimed 'The Neverending Sleep', and the band has already started writing for their next album due for pre-production this fall. Hallows Eve has been confirmed to play this years Rocklahoma July 9th, 2009.

Boston's native power-thrash metal sons Ravage's new album 'The End Of Tomorrow' will be released by Metal Blade Records on August 18th. The band will be playing dates across the United States and into Canada from August to November. While on tour they will be playing the Kansas City Power Metal Fest, Pathfinder Metalfest, and All Hallow's Eve Metal Fest, among others!

Twisted Tower Dire
(Raleigh, NC) was recently featured in the New Wave of Traditional Metal article in the April 2009 issue of Metal Hammer UK magazine. Eleven years after they started, the "Tower Brethren" continue to play their guts out for the legacy of Classic Heavy Metal, headlining the second night of the Warriors of Metal Fest II. They are currently recording their next album to be released later this year.

Zephaniah (Ft Wayne, IN) also played at the Warriors of Metal Fest earlier in the summer. They are currently writing new material and will be recording a few pre-production demos and hope to enter the studio later this year to work on a full-length. In the meantime, they have been given the opportunity to play a variety of great festivals including the Kansas City Power Metal Fest, Pathfinder Metalfest, and All Hallow's Eve Metal Fest.

Atlanta's aggressive and progressive stalwarts Halcyon Way is barnstorming across the Midwest to invade Rocklahoma for the seconf year in a row. They are also in the midst of pre-production on the followup to their debut album, A Manifesto For Domination (Nightmare Records).

Dark and progressive metallers A Lower Deep (Birmingham, AL) is playing shows all across the southeast throughout the summer and fall, including the Sickapalooza festival in Jacksonville, FL, on July 11th which also features Tempest Reign (Brent Smedley of Iced Earth).

VOR debuted on the Atlanta metal scene in 2009 with all guns blazing, immediately capturing the attention of not only melodic metal fans but also that of local rock station Project 96.1, being featured on their Project Homegrown series for one week. VOR is in full writing mode and pre-production for their second self-released album, due out later this fall.

The Pathfinder Metalfest is also supported by local Atlanta bands Brutal Language and Series Overkill, each looking forward to recording before the end of 2009.
