Unless I missed the thread, I haven't seen much of this disc talked up.....their last 2-CD set was excellent, but this one is out of the park.....

Very hard to describe -- in a nutshell, Israeli influenced prog rock meets New Age, injected with the feeling of a rock opera complete with sound effects, chanting, a surreal atmosphere, and a superb production......

At times, I hear some 70s rock / prog rock passages as the disc moves along, and it does have its "groovy" moments..... but overall this is a special disc....surreal, tranquil, addictive and somehow manages to keep drawing me back to it time and and time again, but I can't put my finger on exactly what it is that does that .....

If anyone is on the fence that didn't like the previous disc, fear not .. this is much different. Excellent stuff.

I've only spun it a couple of times. So far, I like it and it is growing on me even more. And, yes, it's a fairly huge departure from their debut.
