Digibooks look cool, but many of them are a pain in the ass, because my CD-Shelf isn't high enough to fit them in.

Yeah, so far I only have two albums in this "digibook" format, and I don't have a CD shelf here in Spain, 70% of my old collection is still back in Venezuela and I'm bringing them little by little, so I have the CDs I have here on a book shelf next to my books, but when I need to buy an actual shelf it's gonna suck. Opeth's Heritage is another one that comes with the booklet glued to the digibook, it's pretty stupid.
 
I loathe digipaks. I prefer standard plastic jewel cases. If your case breaks you can easily replace it. You cannot replace a crappy digipak. Unfortunately record labels are cramming these digipaks down our throats. They are touted as premium packaging but I disagree, I feel it's far inferior. Most of the time the Japanese issues are jewel cases but those imports are costly to get. If this keeps up I may end up going all digital in protest of digipaks.
