Been hearing good things about these guys, and finally had a chance to see them at Q Bar in Darien, IL. Never thought I'd post about a cover band, but these guys were excellent! The singer sounded EXACTLY like Bruce Dickinson, even kinda looked like him, and also had the mannerisms down as well. The whole band was really tight.
Add to that a killer setlist (which included the Piece of Mind album in its entirety, and B-sides like Cross Eyed Mary and I've Got the Fire) made for a really fun evening. They even put effort into a stage show, including their own large Eddie circa 1983! My friend and I have been in bands for many years, so it takes quite a bit to impress us, and we were both raving after the show.
Anyone else caught these guys around the Chicago area?
