I JERK OFF TO ARCTOPUS
Same here--I won't be back until the 3rd or so. I'm going to Connecticut for xmas, then to NYC to see "Metamorphoses", then either to Philly or staying in NYC to see more friends, then up to New Hampshire to ski for New Year's, and then I have a couple of days off to chill in Boston with this NYC girl. happy holidays!

i'll be working until new years. I get xmass and am taking a long weekend after the 1st, but will be back the next monday. I can barely afford to take a vacation.

I actually don't have choice. We're having a plant shutdown. I was almost forced to take the 3rd week off too but somehow got myself to work.

my non-profit buddies have eons of vacation time saved up because they get huge amounts of comp time. i freakin wish.

I get paid for it cuz I'm using my vacation to do it. If I didn't have any vacation left I would have to file for unemployment. And I used to be able to carry over my unused vacation days but the company decided to change that without telling anyone.
