Some of you may know a little about neonfly but I doubt most of you have heard of them. I have seen them live twice now and I was so and so on them. They mix styles a lot. Sometimes very epic and progressive power and then just a regular melodic rock aor band with lighters in the air style music. The singer is definitely going to be an acquired taste. His voice is very feminine and I must admit it took some getting used to live, but he's actually quite a cool singer but you have to put regular wailing power metal singing out of your mind. He's more of an AOR soft rock singer being forced to do power metal as the song calls for it. Ship with No Sails is a very impressive progressive power melodic rock track. The Revenant is ok but less good but grows on you after a while with it's insistent chorus. The production and guitar playing is seemingly really solid. I for one will check this album out.
