Olympos Mons - Conquistador

So, I was almost ready to write this song off as another one of "those bands" since it was coming out on Limb Music. Glad I didn't! Olympos Mons is a pretty kickass band so far (on track 5). They remind me of what you would get if you were to mix Stratovarius/Helloween/Jag Panzer together. Here's a link to a song from the album:

This song is more so Stratovarius sounding then some of the earlier ones on the album.

Anyone else have this album? What do you think?

it's not suprising that nobody answered yet
but this just shows that a lot of guys miss out on a fantastic album

i'm aware that most won't consider this a great album...but it could be something really special for a small share of "metalheads"

to me, they do sound different to all the other countless power metal bands...and this album entertains me like quite no other (of the last couple of years)

Link is from 2004 dude! Check the Limb Music Products & Publishing site or google their home page for some tracks. All in all it was a decent album, nothing ground breaking but enjoyable.
