Thought you Savatage fans would like to check this out. CD Release Party With.....

This is a very cool club. You can check it out here: http://www.clubbourbonstreet.com

Okay - nowhere near a map at the moment. What is the closest (major) airport to New Port Richey and how far from airport to the town? My spidey sense is tingling about the date (possibilities include the Notre Dame game, visitors for Thanksgiving) but this looks like it'd be verrrrry cool - as I love the new album.

Jeff, The closest airport would be Tampa International Airport it is (Mapquested) 27.5 miles from Bourbon Street Night Club or about a 40 min drive.

So, this is strictly a CD release party right, with no live performance from JOP? Do I have this straight?

Not correct. They will be performing!! You can check it out here:http://www.clubbourbonstreet.com Click on events and page down. 2 other bands, Firstborn & Money Shot will be opening. Also I did confirm that they were performing with the venue itself.

:OMG: There's no way I can get down there, especially with it being Thanksgiving weekend. It looks like a cool club though. They must be 80s hardrock fans down there!

Would Jon Oliva's Pain be considered a return band to PP or a 1st time performer since they played under a different name?

They never played before at PP. Jon has, but that was before JOP's material.

No, he played JOP material. The first half of the set was JOP.
First third was like JOP material the rest was FULL ON Savatage material

Yeah thats what I remember the first half or so doing JOP songs, thats why I was curious if his band would fall under a repeat performer, thats of course if they are being considered.
