I have had it in my mind for a while to re-purchase some of my old favorite Playstation games for nostalgic purposes, but I've got a question to ask before I jump headfirst into the past:

I've had issues saving PS data onto a PS2 memory card, so is it possible for me to save data from a PS game onto a PS memory card inserted into a PS2?

I cant even save PS data on a PS2 memory card (but then again I live in Europe, maybe it's different here, assuming you're American). Just get an original PS card and you'll be fine.

The PS1 memory cards will work for PS2, yes. Order them cheap from eBay if you don't have any.
